General Questions

Short’s Lakehouse is located in Northwest Montana, in between the towns of Libby and Kalispell. This is a remote location about 45 minutes from the nearest town.
There is a small convenience store about two miles away but that is the only service nearby.

Lodging capacity is limited on site. We can accommodate anywhere from 10 to 20 people on site, depending on your event package.
If you are holding an event that is larger than that, your guests will need to find additional lodging options. See our travel guide information for more options nearby.

Lodging is available as part of some event packages, depending on the price point you choose when you schedule your event. We also have people who are not having an event stay using our Airbnb sites to book. Navigate to on site lodging to find links.

Yes. Parking is available for guests attending events behind the grey shop on lot 973. We can accommodate up to 15 cars.
If you selected a package that includes lodging, those staying overnight will have private parking for up to 5 more cars depending on what you reserve as part of your event package.
Street parking is limited but also workable.

Yes. Short’s Lakehouse is a private outdoor lakefront venue designed specifically for weddings, retreats, private events, reunions, and group gatherings.

We host small groups for events such as weddings, retreats, family reunions, bachelor and bachelorette parties, hunting camps, fishing derbies; we happy to have people enjoy the lake.

The outdoor venue space is designed to host approximately 50-65 guests.

No, our event services are for events at our lake house only.

Absolutely! Your day, your way. I will not be offended if you want to use another event planner. I want my guests to be happy.
Coordination Questions

Coordination services can include timeline and event activity planning, vendor coordination, event setup, event tear down, and event cleanup.

No. Coordination services are optional and can be added based on the needs of your event.
