Life at the Lake

Short’s Lakehouse is a family owned 2 acre property in northwestern Montana on Middle Thompson Lake that is open to host small private events. Offering professional event services and vacation adventure opportunities. We also offer short term vacation rental options.

This outdoor venue offers a place for you to hold small private events with your friends and family. Our goal is to provide a space for customers to self service their own events and vacations.

We provide the location and the space, and our clients create the magic. Our aim is to keep your event planning simple and the experience memorable. We offer event coordination services and can be as involved our as hands off as you like.

With the outdoor venue, the cabin, and the apartment all on the same property, guests can stay together, celebrate together, and enjoy the weekend without leaving the lake.
