Payments, Cancellation & Refunds
Please review the following policies related to events, lodging, reservations, and use of the property at Short’s Lakehouse.
Payments
• 25% due to hold reservation
• 50% due 45 days prior to event
• 100% due day of event
Cancellations & Refunds
• 180–120 days out: 90% refundable
• 119–90 days out: 50% refundable
• Less than 45 days out: non‑refundable
Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis on the discretion of the owners for cancellations due to acts of nature, sickness/illness, or other uncontrollable situations.
Requirements
• Refundable damage deposit
• Event insurance purchased by client
• Event Agreement for venue
• Service Contract for event services
